Some of his movies include: Bell, Book, and Candle, North to Alaska, Our Man in Havana, Strangers When We Meet, and It Happened to Jane. He was the star of TV's groundbreaking "The Ernie Kovacs Show". He passed away in 1962 at the age of 42 in a car accident. After his death, he owed the IRS hundreds of thousands of dollars (he didn't believe in taxes, and simply refused to pay!), and his wife, Edie Adams, insisted on paying it off, working in TV commercials (she was the spokesperson for Muriel Cigars for 19 years!). Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Ernie Kovacs! It is matted together with a REPRODUCTION still, and the entire display is ready to frame and hang on the wall! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
