An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More)

Ningen no joken III (released in the U.S. as "The Human Condition III" and "The Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer"), the 1961 Masaki Kobayashi Japanese World War II (WWII) action melodrama sequel starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Michiyo Aratama, Yusuke Kawazu, Tamao Nakamura, and Chishu Ryu. Note that this was the third in a series of three films about a Japanese pacifist as he tries to get through World War II, and that first release Japanese posters from any of the three movies are extremely rare.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! The buyer of that poster has now reconsigned it to us, so this is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded with several extra horizontal creases. It had a snipe glued on back at lower center and that let ink transfer stains, but they have little or no effect on the front. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
