An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 14 1/2" x 40" [37 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Zane Grey's Nevada, the 1927 John Waters silent romantic love triangle cowboy western melodrama ("From the novel by Zane Grey"; about a pair of cattle rustlers who want to go straight, but one gets involved with the sister of the man they work for, and there are other problems too!) starring Gary Cooper (in the title role as Nevada), Thelma Todd (in her third credited movie role!), William Powell (in one of his early silent roles, playing a "heavy", before he became a top star once he made talking pictures and people heard his wonderful voice), Phillip Strange, and Ernie Adams NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Richardson Studio Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds. It had extra horizontal folds scattered in the image, with some creases and scuffs scattered in the poster, more so in the bottom dark background areas. It had creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
