Condition: very good. There was an oval-shaped area of paper loss in the background area between the faces of Landi and Colman. There was a quarter-sized area of paper loss at the bottom crossfold in the middle of Landi's blouse. There were some tears in the background below the "UNITED ARTISTS PICTURE" credit. There were some tears on the foldlines and there was paper loss in the extreme top edge of the left half of the top border. There were some creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss in the other borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was quite nicely backed. The above areas were well restored, and yet there is not a lot of paint restoration on the image!
