Howard New York City waterfront romantic crime melodrama ("Modern buccaneers along Manhattan's docks & piers"; "From the novel by Charles Francis Coe"; about a New York orphan who lives on the waterfront, and he is helped by an ex-convict sailor, and after many adventures, he stays loyal to his friend, but ultimately, he goes straight when he meets a good girl who is a detective's daughter) starring Victor McLaglen, Lois Moran, Nick Stuart, Earle Foxe, and Donald Crisp NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny areas of paper loss on parts of the foldlines and pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after it was backed, the poster was VERY roughly handled, and there are now many creases, scuffs, and some tiny bits of surface paper loss scattered in the poster. Certainly, the new owner should have this poster removed from the linen and re-backed, and after proper restoration, it will look great, but bear this expense in mind before placing a bid on this poster.
