An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) American Airlines: Arizona, the 1950s airplane airline aviation travel poster encouraging people to use American Airlines when flying to the U.S. state of Arizona, and featuring Fred Ludekens art of a cowboy and cowgirl on horseback next to a large saguaro cactus with a DC-7 propeller-driven aircraft flying above. Artist: Fred Ludekens Condition: good to very good. There is a 3" tear in the middle of the bottom edge and there is some tearing and paper loss in the top corners and lower left corner of the poster. There are glue stains on the back of the poster around the edges with some bleeding through to the front in the right corners, but they otherwise do not appear to have any effect on the front. There are minor horizontal creases down the left edge of the poster. Other than the defects around the edges, the poster is in nice condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look wonderful, although I'm sure most collectors would be quite happy with this cool poster as it is!
