A 1973 Re-release Vinyl Record (measures 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" [32 x 32 cm]; 33 1/3 RPM) (Learn More)

Famous Monsters of Filmland was a horror film magazine from 1958 to 1983 (and revived in 1993 and 2008). It was published by Jim Warren and edited by Forrest J. Ackerman, and was the introduction to classic monster movies for a huge number of collectors and fans, including many who went on to become famous names in the movie business! Each issue had full-color covers and heavily illustrated black & white stories inside. The magazine was so popular that multiple conventions have taken place, featuring Forrest J. Ackerman and famous guests!
Important Added Info: Note that this is a special 33 1/3 RPM record album put out by Golden Records in 1973 (a 1973 re-release of the original 1963 album), which is titled "Famous Monsters Speak" and was written by Cherney Berg with "the voices of Gabriel Dell" and "sound effects by Hal Johnson". And yes, that IS the same Gabriel Dell who was in The Dead End Kids, and he provides the voices of both Frankenstein and Dracula!

Condition: fair to good. There is a great deal of scuffing on the cover of the jacket and a lesser amount on the back cover. The jacket is separated on the top and bottom, and someone put clear tape in those areas. We have no way of verifying if the record is playable, but it appears to be.
