Blondie is an American comic strip created by cartoonist Chic Young in 1930. Originally, she was a flapper girl, but she married Dagwood Bumstead in 1933, and that led to the massive success of the strip, which revolved around this "typical" American family (they had two children and a dog named Daisy). The comic strip led to the long-running Blondie film series from Columbia Pictures (1938-1950) and the popular Blondie radio program (1939-1950), and also many comic books.

Important Added Info: Note that this is "Feature Book No. 31", which features the story "Blondie Keeps the Home-Fires Burning".
