Leeds New York City romantic crime murder thriller ("Original story by Jerome Cady"; "You'll gasp between laughs!"; about a woman who is engaged to a dsitrict attorney, and after he is falsely convicted of murder, she, with the help of a former gangster, helps save his life) starring Gloria Stuart, Michael Whalen, Paul Kelly, Robert Kellard, June Storey, Paul Hurst, and Leon Ames. Note that the title "Island in the Sky" refers to a restaurant on the top floor of a 70 story Manhattan skyscraper (decades later, the World Trade Center would have the "Window on the World" restaurant on its top floor). There are a few tack holes in the blank borders and there are a few tiny pinholes in the art of the building at upper left. There is small separation and paper loss in the upper crossfold, and tiny paper loss in the center crossfold.
