An Autographed 1 1/4" x 3 3/4" Cut Album Page (Learn More) Marie Wilson was an actress from the 1930s to the 1970s. She is best remembered for her starring roles in the "My Friend Irma" movies in 1949 and 1950 (which introduced Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis), and she recreated that role in a TV series. But she had started in movies in 1934, mostly playing sexy chorus girls! Some of her other movies include: Babes in Toyland, For Auld Lang Syne, The Private Affairs of Bel Ami, Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation, Satan Met a Lady, and Boy Meets Girl. Wilson passed away in 1972 at the age of 56. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Marie Wilson. It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item has been trimmed and it now measures 1 1/4" x 3 3/4" [3 x 10 cm]. This autograph (and others from this same collection we are offering in separate auctions) comes from the estate of Dorothy Credille, who was a Hollywood publicist in the 1930s to the 1950s. During the course of her work, she became personal friends and an acquaintance of all the top Hollywood stars, and she collected many autographs in an autograph book (as well as some signed 8x10s and 11x14s). Someone took the autograph book and cut out the individual autographs, and this is one of those autographs from that book. We feel certain that it is authentic. Condition: good to very good.
