An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #6 (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Invisible Boy, the 1957 Herman Hoffman science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("The science-monster who would destroy the world!"; "Horror grips the earth as robot runs amok!"; "Screen Play by Cyril Hume"; "Based On The Story By Edmund Cooper") starring Richard Eyer, Philip Abbott, Diane Brewster, Harold Stone, Robert H. Harris, and Robby the Robot (who was so memorable in "Forbidden Planet" the year before). Note that there are those who speculate that one of the main reasons Robby the Robot appears in this movie is because MGM had spent a LOT of money creating him for Forbidden Planet, and they wanted to recoup some of that money by casting him in another film! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the back of this card was overprinted with a solid rectangular pattern. This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. This IS an original lobby card. Condition: fair. There is paper tape on the front and back of the card. There is paper loss in four places in the image where a still was mounted to the back of the card, and that is part of the reason for the paper tape. Learn More about condition grades
