An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) A Coney Island Princess, the 1916 Dell Henderson silent New York City romantic love triangle comedy melodrama ("Based on the play 'Princess Zim-Zim' by Edward Sheldon"; about a rich New York City man whose socialite fiancee kicks him out when he gets drunk, and he goes to Coney Island, where he falls in love with an exotic dancer named Princess Zim-Zim, but she has a boyfriend, and the dancer nobly pretends that she doesn't love the rich man so that he will be reunited with someone more appropriate for him) starring Irene Fenwick (in the title role as Tessie/Princess Zim-Zim), Owen Moore, Eva Francis, Clifford Grey, and William Bailey. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
