No guards in the Recreation Hall but these dogs aren't pets!"; "Kids turned 'rock-n-roll' wild and the 'correction farm' that makes them wilder!"; "Turns a searing spotlight on teen-age 'cons' in a House of Correction"; "Flings open the door of a shocking juvenile 'Correction Farm'!"; "The law's graft and grabbers who move in on kids gone wrong!"; "Kids delivered F.O.B. --and this was the payola!") starring Mamie Van Doren ("Starring the girl built like a platinum powerhouse!"; "Penny--only a kid but one guard didn't think so!"), Lori Nelson, John Russell, Don Burnett, Jeanne Carmen (as "Lilibet", "What she did on the outside gave her a real 'in' now!"), Eddie Cochran (as "Bong" who "Has a 'gone' guitar and he's gone real bad!"), Yvonne Lime (as "Baby", "A one-mistake girl who learns plenty!"), and Wayne Taylor (as "Duke" who was "Just waiting for a 'break'!") This poster was linenbacked, but it was either NOT linenbacked by a very talented restorer, OR it was linenbacked many years ago, and has received rough handling over the years, OR it had fairly significant defects that were not well restored. If it was restored, you can clearly see signs of the restoration even from a distance. This is a poster that would surely benefit from additional professional restoration. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had many creases, stains, and areas of paper loss along the foldlines and many pinholes, creases, smudges, stains, small tears, and paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was backed "as is". Of course, any talented restorer could perform additional restoration on the poster, either without re-backing it, or with re-backing it.
