An Unfolded Swiss Advertising Poster (measures 35 1/2" x 50 1/4" [90 x 128 cm]) (Learn More) Cailler is a Swiss chocolate brand which was founded by Francois-Louis Cailler in 1819. Cailler spent four years in Turin, Italy learning the art of chocolate making, and when he returned to Switzerland, he set up the first Swiss chocolate factory in Corsier. His great innovation was the development of a smooth chocolate that could be formed into bars, and in 1875, Daniel Peter (Cailler's son-in-law) had the idea of combining chocolate with his neighbor Henri Nestle's condensed milk to make milk chocolate. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster has just a few light creases and tears of varying lengths (approximately 1" or less) along portions of some edges (mostly repaired with tape from the back). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
