An Original 1929 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage German Film Program (measures 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Telling the World, the 1928 Sam Wood silent China newspaper journalism romantic comedy melodrama ("Story by Dale Van Every"; a cool story about a rich man's son who is disowned, and he becomes a newspaper reporter; the other reporters play a prank on him by sending him to a cafe because there was supposedly a murder, but as luck would have it, a murder does occur, and he catches the killer and gets the scoop; he also meets a chorus girl who he falls in love with, and when she goes to China to entertain the troops, he follows her, and she is falsely accused of being a spy and attempting murder, and he saves her right before she is beheaded) starring William Haines, Anita Page, Eileen Percy, Frank Currier, Polly Moran, and Matthew Betz. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of four of the pages of this 8-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and two of the interior pages together). You can see the four of the eight pages, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are four pages you are not seeing. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended). Condition: fair to good. There are two punch holes in the spine of all eight pages (there are white reinforcers over the holes on the front and back covers), which has some effect on the images and writing (the program was once kept in a 2-ring binder).
