What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired creases down the right side, mostly in the excess linen, but with two entering into the poster's white background.
