Important Added Info: Note that this poster was printed on the back of another poster! During World War II in Belgium, there was a massive paper shortage, and so they used whatever paper they could find to print the movie posters, and in many cases they used old posters or maps, and printed the new movie posters on the reverse. They often also made the posters smaller, so they could get more posters printed. This practice continued for a couple of years after World War II. Since these posters are original, and since all such posters are printed on the back of maps or other posters, this is not considered a defect by almost all collectors. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was printed on the back of another poster , but it has very little effect on the image (except it slightly shows through in all four borders). The poster's blank top was neatly trimmed off. The poster was folded once in the upper part of the image, and there were some creases and tiny surface paper loss along that fold. There were a few tiny tears in the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
