An Original Vintage Folded French Stage Play Poster (measures 31 1/2" x 47" [80 x 119 cm]) (Learn More)

Chanson D'Amour (literally translates to "Love Song"), the 1920s - 1930s French stage play musical production (an adaption by Hugues Delorme and Leon Abric of the German operetta Das Dreimaderlhaus by Franz Schubert). Note that this poster features Georges Dola art of a man and three ladies.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned one example of this extremely rare poster in all our years of auctioning (but that one was linenbacked and this one is not!). Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It was likely stored next to folded posters and it has a light horizontal "wave" at upper center and at top. There are what appear to be "lines" in the man's clothing, but they are within the printing. Otherwise the very rare poster is in pretty nice condition.
