An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) I'm No Angel, the 1933 Wesley Ruggles circus sideshow romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Come up and see me sometime - any time!"; "Goodness... has nothing to do with it!"; about a sexy dancer in a third rate circus; she lives with a guy, but that doesn't stop her from seeing other men; when her boyfriend goes to jail, she becomes the lion tamer; she gets a rich playboy boyfriend, but she wants his cousin, played by super young Cary Grant!) starring Mae West, Cary Grant (in his 12th movie role!), Gregory Ratoff, Edward Arnold, Ralf Harolde, Kent Taylor, and William B. Davidson. Note that this movie was originally called "It Ain't No Sin", and the enactment of the Production Code caused the title to be changed to the much tamer "I'm No Angel", and apparently caused several racy scenes to end up on the cutting room floor! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Mae West's most famous catchphrase was "Come up and see me sometime - any time!", and on this window card that phrase is above an image of Mae West and young Cary Grant! Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good. The card has an unusual printing defect in that the lettering is off center. You can see the "T" as a ghost after the regular "T" of "WEST" and the same thing is true of the "el" of "Angel". There are ghosts of the letters in the tagline at upper left below the two lines of text. This is clearly some sort of unusual printing defect, and we can't easily explain how it would have occurred. In spite of this, the card displays pretty well, unless you look closely at the card, you can't really see these things, and otherwise, the card is in pretty nice unrestored condition. But we ask all bidders to please look closely at our super-sized image to see the odd printing defect we are talking about and consider it before placing a bid on this window card.
