An Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Pressbook (English pb; measures 9 3/4" x 12 1/4" [25 x 31 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

Gerry Anderson's Thunderbird 6, the 1968 David Lane English family science fiction (sci-fi) (science fiction) marionette puppet melodrama sequel ("Thundering into your sights staggering the imagination 'Brains' greatest inspiration!"; "Supermarionation") featuring the voices of Peter Dyneley, Sylvia Anderson, Shane Rimmer, Jeremy Wilkin, Matt Zimmerman, David Graham, and Keith Alexander. Note that these puppets first appeared in an English TV series. That proved so popular that it was made into the 1966 feature film "Thunderbirds are GO", and this was a sequel to that movie made two years later! First release English items from this movie are scarce, as are items from the 1966 movie that preceded it.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this English pressbook, which is a "country of origin" item for this English movie! Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this English pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Finally, note that this English pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
