An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Sitting Pretty, the 1948 Walter Lang romantic family live-in babysitter comedy ("Based on a novel by Gwen Davenport"; the first of the "Mr. Belvedere" series) starring Robert Young, Maureen O'Hara, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Mr. Belvedere), Richard Haydn, Louise Allbritton, Randy Stuart, Ed Begley, Larry Olsen, John Russell, Betty Ann Lynn, and Willard Robertson. Note that the character of Mr. Belvedere was introduced in this movie. He proved to be very popular and a sequel was made the following year called "Mr. Belvedere Goes to College", followed by a second and final sequel two years later, called "Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card is significantly tattered around the edges, with paper loss in much of three blank borders. Otherwise, the card is in surprisingly good condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
