An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Heart of Texas Ryan, the 1917 E.A. Martin silent cowboy western starring ("Story by Gilson Willet") Tom Mix, George Fawcett, Bessie Eyton (in the title role as Texas Ryan), Frank Campeau, and William Ryno. The original title of this movie was "The Light Of The Western Stars", a classic Zane Grey story, but Selig had not bothered to buy the rights, so they had to change the title, and later there were several movies made under the original title. In 1923, Exclusive Features reissued this movie and re-titled it "Single Shot Parker." If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card is from Exclusive Features. The movie was made by Selig, so this could be an early re-release, but it is just as likely that Exclusive Features purchased the rights to distribute the movie in part of the country (this was common at that time), and that this is an original release lobby card. If anyone knows more about this lobby card, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There are faint water stains across the bottom of the card.
