Wilcox canine Collie dog family melodrama sequel (written by Lionel Houser) starring Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Morgan, Tom Drake, Lassie ("Lassie in a new adventure"), Selena Royle, Harry Davenport, George Cleveland, Catherine McLeod, Morris Ankrum, William Wallace, Minor Watson, and Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer. Note that Elizabeth Taylor had been 7th billed in "Lassie Come Home" in 1943, and had otherwise only had three uncredited roles, but "National Velvet" in 1945 made her a major star, and so she was top billed in this sequel to "Lassie Come Home" made the following year. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Someone once lightly started to tri-fold the card horizontally, but they apparently thought better of it, although there are now partial horizontal creases (one running through Taylor's forehead, and one running through the bottom of the dog's mouth). The card also had pinholes and some dot stains around the edges, with a 1 1/2" tear in the top border. Overall, the card was in good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the card displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
