An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Belita (born Maria Belita Jepson-Turner) was a former Olympic ice skater and actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She competed in the 1936 Olympics at 12 years old, and she appeared in several Republic movies that involved ice skating, and later in some non-ice skating dramatic roles. Some of her movies include: Never Let Me Go, The Gangster, and Silver Skates. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that this still likely has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has the letters "TRR". One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that 160 of the stills in this set of auctions come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of almost his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of those stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us!
