He was a burlesque comic who is most famous for playing the lead role in "Not Tonight, Henry", one of the first of the "nudie cuties" in 1960. Some of his other movies include: This Is the Army, Pal Joey, and Robin and the 7 Hoods. He passed away in 1981 at the age of 74. This is an application to join the Los Angeles Local of the Television and Radio Union, and this person filled out the form completely on front and back, and also signed it! Attached is the office copy of the receipt from his payment of his initiation and dues. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
