An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) The Concert for Bangladesh, the 1972 Saul Swimmer rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical concert documentary ("The greatest concert of the decade Now You Can See And Hear It... As If You Were There!"; "Now you can experience it, hear it, live it as never before."; the money raised from these concerts was used to help rebuild the war-torn country) featuring Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Ravi Shankar, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Badfinger, Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Joey Molland, Mike Gibbons, Allan Beutler, Jesse Ed Davis, Chuck Findley, Marlin Greene, Jeanie Greene, Jo Green, Dolores Hall, Jim Horn, Kamala Chakravarty, Jackie Kelso, Jim Keltner, Usted Aliakbar Khan, Claudia Lennear, Lou McCreary, Ollie Mitchell, Don Nix, Don Preston, Carl Radle, and Alla Rakah NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which we have never auctioned before, has some real mysteries about it! We have previously auctioned the style B one-sheet as well as an advance one-sheet (in both a domestic and international version). But this poster is none of those! Could it be the style A one-sheet (which we have never auctioned)? We think surely not, because this poster has "Colby Poster Printing Co." with a Los Angeles address in the lower right corner, and it measures 28" x 42" which is unusual for one-sheets of this time. That would seem to make it likely that this poster was for the Los Angeles release of this movie. Note that this poster has "70mm and 6 track stereophonic sound" at top, and that is on the advance one-sheet, but not on the style B one-sheet, so maybe the style B one-sheet was for theaters that did not show this movie in 70mm or 6 track stereophonic sound. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. It is surely original to 1972 and it is surely one of the most rare rock and roll one-sheet movie posters there is, but please do not bid on it unless you can accept the above uncertainties. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded and there is some tiny paper loss in the left of the top blank border. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
