Get yours free as you enter the theatre!"; "Bloodthirsty vampire lives again!"; "The greatest all new fright show in town!"; "All New Thrills and Chills with the eeriest fright show in town!"; "Only the Lord of the Dead could unleash them!") of Dracula: Prince of Darkness, the 1966 Terence Fisher English Hammer vampire horror thriller ("The world's most evil vampire lives again!"; "Four dinner guests - a perfect meal for a bloodthirsty vampire!"; "All-New In Color"; written by John Sansom) starring Christopher Lee (in the title role as Dracula), Barbara Shelley, Andrew Keir, Francis Matthews, and Suzan Farmer AND The Plague of the Zombies, the 1966 John Gilling English Hammer horror thriller ("Called from the grave by a Mystic Voodoo Cult..."; "Doomed to walk the Earth as slaves to the lord of the living dead!!!"; "Only The Lord Of The Dead Could Unleash Them!") starring Andre Morell, Diane Clare, John Carson (NOT "Johnny Carson", the U.S. TV star, but an English actor who was doubly cursed!; he started acting long before Johnny Carson's career took off, but he was undoubtedly confused with him throughout the latter part of his career, and his voice sounded exactly the same as James Mason's, so he had that to deal with as well!; nevertheless, he made 122 movies, including many for Hammer Studios), Brook Williams, and Jacqueline Pearce NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning movie would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good to fine. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers).
