Seiter hotel slapstick comedy ("Mama - those men are here again!"; The Marx Bros. are in a hotel and can't pay their bill, and they refuse to leave, with many great comic scenes) starring The Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx, Chico Marx, and Harpo Marx), Lucille Ball, Ann Miller, Frank Albertson, and Cliff Dunstan. Note that not only did this movie have the Marx Bros., but it also had Lucille Ball, who a little over a decade later would become America's favorite comedienne! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Al Hirschfeld Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had pinholes, tiny tears, and some faint stains in the borders and in the top play dates area, but was otherwise in nice condition prior to paperbacking. The card was nicely backed, and displays well! The person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over parts of the left and right borders, and over the entire top blank area, to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area that was affected).
