There was Never a Name!"; produced by Ross Hunter; based on the play by Alexandre Bisson) starring Lana Turner (in the title role "as Madame X"), John Forsythe, Ricardo Montalban, Burgess Meredith, Constance Bennett, and Keir Dullea (billed as "The 'David and Lisa' star as Clay, Jr."). Note that this classic tearjerker is one of the most frequently remade movies ever! It was first in a feature film in 1916 (as "Madam X"), and was then remade in 1920, 1929, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1954, and 1966, and there was even a TV movie version in 1981! There are some transparencies in this set of auctions that were NOT created by studios, but those are very clearly marked. Also, note that we not only took a photograph (or photographs) of how these items appear, but we also scanned them as well, so that you can see the actual images (and how high quality they are).
