An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Racketeer, the 1929 Howard Higgin romantic love triangle casino gambling crime melodrama ("All Music Sound and Dialoguie"; about a suave gangster who meets a beautiful young woman helping a down-and-out violinist; later, he meets her in a gambling casino where she is desperately cheating at cards to try to get money to help the violinist; the gangster gets the violinist a job to try to get close to the girl, but he gets killed by a rival, leaving the young lovers to have a happy life together) starring Robert Armstrong, Carole Lombard (billed as "Carol Lombard"; 21 years old, and in her second year of starring roles!), Roland Drew, Paul Hurst, Kit Guard, and Jeanette Loff NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
