Important Added Info: Note that theaters would regularly have heralds that they would pass out to people on the streets, to try to encourage them to go see a movie currently playing. But apparently, one theater hit on this idea of making brown paper bags that were overprinted with a herald-like ad for this movie, with a great sexy image of Rita Hayworth! We don't know if they were passed out at the theater or if they were given to stores to use to put customer's purchases into, but either way, we have never seen a similar promo bag from the 1940s or earlier!
