An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Wanted - A Husband, the 1919 Lawrence C. Windom silent mistaken identity romantic marriage comedy ("By Samuel Hopkins Adams"; a wacky story of a young woman whose best friends become engaged, so, to not feel a loser, she makes up a fiance, and her friends help her fake it, and then a young man volunteers to pretend to be the fiance, and amazingly, they really fall in love) starring Billie Burke (billed as "By arrangement with Florenz Ziegfeld Jr."), James Crane, Margaret Linden, Charles Lane, Edward Lester, and Bradley Barker. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
