Note that star Robert Williams played the lead in this movie, and seemed that he might have a very promising career, but he developed appendicitis shortly after it was finished, and he died of peritonitis four days after the movie opened! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that in 1950 Columbia re-released this classic movie on a double bill with an equally classic movie, Gilda. Posters and lobby cards were made showing both movies, but separate still were made for both movies, with the captions only referring to the single movie.
