An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 37" [67 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) La Chamaca (literally translates to "The Brat"), the 1961 Miguel Morayta Mexican romantic comedy melodrama (about two homeless people who fall in love, but they keep getting separated) starring Resortes (billed as "Adalberto Martinez 'Resortes'"), Kitty de Hoyos, Anita Blanch, Jorge Mistral, Tito Novaro, Jesus Gomez, and Renata Dumond. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Ruy Renau Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: good to very good. The poster has creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges and folds and there is a censor stamp at center (see our image). This Mexican poster is somewhat fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great).
