Also included are 2 ad supplements that have 4 pages each (Learn More) Orfeu Negro (released in the U.S. as "Black Orpheus"), the classic 1959 Marcel Camus Brazilian/French/Italian doomed romance fantasy melodrama ("Amid the splendor of Carnival in Rio... A modern retelling of the ancient legend of love and passion and violence!"; "Passionate! Volatile! Haunting!"; winner of the Best Foreign Language Academy Award; a re-telling of the Greek myth, updated to the present day and set at the Brazilian Carnival, and featuring black actors in the lead roles) starring Breno Mello (in the title role as Orfeu), Marpessa Dawn (as Eurydice), Marcel Camus, Fausto Guerzoni, Lourdes de Oliveira, and Adhemar Ferreira da Silva (as Death) Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed.
