Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. It is hard to tell what defects the poster had prior to linenbacking, but it seems that it was in pretty good condition before someone started backing it. Unfortunately, the person who backed it backed it onto a thin linen, and they did not glue the poster properly, and it is separating from the linen around the edges. It also acquired creases down the center, both in the linen and the poster itself, with separation in the center of the bottom border. Certainly, one could remove this from the old linen and then properly re-back it, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this extremely rare poster. Learn More about condition grades
