An Original Vintage Autographed Promotional Sleeping Bag (measures 32" x 67") (Learn More) Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, the 1967 - 1973 musical sketch comedy television (TV) series starring Dan Rowan, Rick Martin, Ruth Buzzi, Gary Owens, Alan Sues, Arte Johnson, Henry Gibson, Jo Anne Worley, Lily Tomlin, Goldie Hawn, and Richard Dawson. The show became the number one rated show on TV, and all sorts of major stars made cameo appearances, including John Wayne and President Richard Nixon! Note that in 1977, producer George Schlatter and NBC tried to revive the show (WITHOUT Rowan and Martin!) in a brief series of specials simply called "Laugh-In". They did not do all that well, although a then unknown Robin Williams was one of the many comics who appeared in them, along with famous celebrities. In 1980, Rowan and Martin sued NBC and were awarded $4.6 million! Important Added Info: Note that this promotional sleeping bag has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Goldie Hawn AND Ruth Buzzi! Note that our consignor is a very longtime collectibles dealer who purchased the bag from a lady who was a hair and makeup artist for Goldie Hawn. She had purchased the bag when it was new, and had Miss Hawn sign is for her in 1969. After our consignor purchased it, he met Ruth Buzzi in person and had her sign it in as well in 2002! Note that our consignor says he has never seen another of these sleeping bags, and that Miss Buzzi had never even heard of it (no doubt she wasn't paid anything for her likeness being used!). Condition: very good. The sleeping bag is contained in a printed fabric bag with a drawstring (it is that bag that has the autographs). Both the sleeping bag and the fabric bag have likely survived in about as nice condition as one could hope after so many years! Learn More about condition grades
