Gavroche et Casimir S'entrainent (literally translates to "Gavroche and Casimir Train"), the 1913 Romeo Bosetti French silent sports boxing comedy short starring Lucien Bataille (in the title role as Casimir), and Paul Bertho (in the title role as Gavroch). It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss in the bottom of the vertical fold and small paper loss at the crossfolds, with some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, and a few tears and areas of paper loss scattered in non-foldline areas, and a few stains scattered in the image as well, with some small tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. The entire poster had darkened somewhat, more so along the folds and around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking (especially considering it is over 100 years old!). The poster was simply backed on to a very thin linen with no excess, and either no or very little restoration was performed. If I owned this poster, I would surely have it removed from the thin linen, and backed by a talented professional. After the touch up of the defects described above, the poster will look fantastic!
