An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 11" [20 x 28 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Movie Maniacs, the 1936 Del Lord Hollywood California movie making slapstick comedy short (the boys go to Hollywood to get into movies, and they are mistaken for studio executives, and they cause the entire cast and crew to quit, so they take over themselves, with Moe directing Larry as the leading man and Curly as the leading lady!) starring the Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard), Kenneth Harlan, Mildred Harris, Kenneth Harlan, Bud Jamison, Harry Semels, and Lois Lindsay NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is the very first key book still from a 1930s Three Stooges short that we have auctioned (previously, the earliest we had auctioned was one from 1942's "Cactus Makes Perfect". This is one incredibly rare still, and it has a wonderful image of the Three Stooges! Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
