A Group of 4 1991 Re-release Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Television Stills (Learn More) Star Trek is an American science fiction (sci-fi) entertainment franchise created by Gene Roddenberry in 1966, with the first Star Trek TV show. Oddly, the first pilot for it was not "picked up" by the network, but that was likely a lucky break, because star Jeffrey Hunter was then replaced with William Shatner, and the rest, as they say, is history! The franchise has spawned several television shows, over a dozen theatrical films, and many books, comics, and games. Important Added Info: Note that each of these four stills has been personally autographed (signed) by the person pictured: George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, AND Walter Koenig! Our consignor obtained each autograph in person at a VSDA convention. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Also note that these stills were printed on Kodak paper, but we believe them to surely be original stills. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on Kodak stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
