Schaffner family relationship melodrama ("How long has it been since you've seen a really good movie? Since you really fell in love with a picture. Where you felt a movie instead of just seeing one. Since you forgot you were in a theatre and thought you were in someone else's life. When you lost yourself in a story. Since you saw a movie that said something about life and love that you will take with you in your heart and mind long after the evening's over. How long has it been since you've seen a really good movie? If it's been too long then see 'Islands In The Stream."; "Based Upon The Novel By Ernest Hemingway") starring George C. Scott (as Thomas Hudson), David Hemmings (as Eddy), Gilbert Roland (as Captain Ralph), Clair Bloom (as Audrey), Susan Tyrrell (as Lil), Richard Evans (as Willy), Julius Harris, and Hart Bochner NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 11 STILLS, BUT ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 11 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the eight pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made no effort to find the best eight stills in the lot, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of each still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPES DO NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILLS! Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
