An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

TWA: Africa, the circa 1967 TWA (Trans World Airlines) airplane airline aviation travel poster encouraging people to fly TWA to Africa, and featuring art of several zebra by noted travel poster illustrator David Klein!
Artist: David Klein
Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this poster in the last nine years and the last time it sold for $876!

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of the left edge and there is spotty, slight discoloration scattered throughout the back of the poster (and there is a hand print on back at upper center). The discoloration is not as noticeable on the front mainly due to the poster's colors. It has several light and fine creases scattered throughout and there is a small amount of staining at upper center (in between the "I" and "C"). Fortunately aside from the small paper loss at lower left the poster is otherwise "all there" and is still colorful, and after proper restoration the rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
