Note that Fred MacMurray had played the saxophone professionally before becoming an actor, and he played it in this movie (he came from a musical family, and his father was a concert violinist!). The poster had paper loss at the middle crossfold and tears and areas of paper loss on parts of several foldlines, with paper loss in the background to the right of Lamour's neck. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
