An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 62" [119 x 157 cm]) (Learn More) Je t'aime, Je t'aime (literally translates to "I Love You, I Love You"), the 1968 Alain Resnais French science fiction (sci-fi) time travel fantasy romantic melodrama (about a man recovering from a suicide attempt, who agrees to be sent backward through time in an experiment, but instead, he experiences scenes from his life in a random order) starring Claude Rich, Olga Georges-Picot, Anouk Ferjac, Alain MacMoy, and Marie-Blanche Vergnes. Note that the book "Slaughterhouse-Five" was released in 1969, and it has a very similar "random time travel" portion of its plot. We do not know if the book preceded this movie, or came after, or if the two were released virtually simultaneously, and we don't know if Vonnegut or Resnais gave any credit to each other in this regard.
