An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 28" x 39 1/4") (Learn More)

The Air Circus, the 1928 Howard Hawks & Lewis Seiler (billed as "Lew Seiler") romantic love triangle airplane aviation pilot action adventure thriller ("Young America flies to conquer"; "Story by Graham Baker and Andrew Bennison"; about two flight school cadets who vie for the affections of a beautiful girl, who turns out to be a champion pilot!; there is a spectacular scene where Rollins rescues Carol and Lake from a disabled plane in mid-air) starring Sue Carol, Louise Dresser, David Rollins, Arthur Lake, and Heinie Conklin. Note that this was director Howard Hawks' first airplane movie; it was thought lost for many years, but a silent version was found in the 1970s (although it was originally a partial talkie, the talking sequences are still lost).

Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the upper right border just extending into the blue background area. There are creases and tears around the edges of the poster with some very tiny paper loss. There is a 4" tear in the upper right border which was repaired with tape from the back.
