An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Elinor Glyn's Love's Blindness, the 1926 John Francis Dillon silent romantic arranged marriage melodrama ("Story scenario and personal supervision by Elinor Glyn"; about the daughter of a Jewish moneylender, whose father is owed a great amount by a British nobleman, and the Brit agrees to marry the daughter to square his account, and at first they have a loveless marriage due to his perception of their class differences, but he is eventually won over by her) starring Pauline Starke, Antonio Moreno, Lilyan Tashman, Sam de Grasse and Douglas Gilmore. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1926 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a window card (and no other movie paper) from this movie until we received this great lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card was slightly trimmed in its left and right blank borders. Overall, the card was in good to very good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above border defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the card displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
