An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Fighting Stallion, the 1926 Ben F. Wilson silent cowboy western starring Yakima Canutt, Boy the Wonder Horse, Neva Gerber, Al Ferguson, Leonard Trrainer, and Fred Gamble. Yakima Canutt was the legendary "second unit director" (the man in charge of stunts) on hundreds of movies, and he was a stuntman on many of them. He appeared in a number of movies in credited acting roles, but this was one of the few where he received top billing, playing "Yak" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. Only one pane of glass is present, and there is no black tape around the edges, but otherwise, it is in really nice condition. Certainly, one could locate a perfect blank back pane from a different slide and then re-tape the slide and it will be wonderful! Learn More about condition grades
