An Original Vintage Linenbacked World War I Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Third Liberty Loan, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("My daddy bought me a government bond of the Third Liberty Loan, did yours?") used to encourage people to buy government bonds, and featuring great artwork of a little girl clutching a bond to her chest (which matures in 1932!).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had an 8" tear in the left of the bottom border extending up into the tagline. It had a few small tears, creases, and a tiny bit of paper loss in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
