An Undated (probably 1980s) Limited Edition Art Print (measures 15 1/2" x 20" [39 x 51 cm]; #21 of 1,000) (Learn More)

Macamba, the 1949 Lilla Van Saher sexploitation paperback book ("Their bodies swayed to the frenzied mating rhythm of the Tamboe"; "Lust and hate in the tropics"). Note that the cover of this book features Rudolph Belarski art of a man and topless woman dancing by a fire
Artist: Rudolph Belarski
Important Added Info: Note that what we are auctioning is NOT the book that has this image on its cover, but rather a 1980s hand-numbered limited edition print (the example we are auctioning is #21/1000). We are auctioning three similar limited edition prints (two measure approximately 15 1/2" x 20", and the third measures approximately 33" x 46"). Our consignor purchased them at an art gallery in the 1980s, and he does not remember what they told him about when these were created or who created them, and searching the Internet has not been fruitful in finding more information about them, but obviously, there were originally 1,000 of each of these (each hand numbered), so one would think one could find information about them! If anyone knows more about any of these limited edition prints, please e-mail us and we will post it here. All three have really striking artwork (after all, that is what sold these paperback books!), and they will look great framed on the new owner's wall. Each of the three limited edition art prints are in a separate auction. Finally, note that this art print is printed on a high quality heavyweight paper, and we will not roll it in a tube, and it will be sent in a flat package.

Condition: very good to fine. The print is on a high quality paper stock and is in nice condition!
