An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style A Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Tunnel of Love, the 1958 Gene Kelly romantic musical comedy ("From the bold, blushing stage hit about sex in the suburbs!"; "Hear Doris Day Sing..."; "From the Stage Play by Joseph Fields and Peter De Vries"; "Based on the Novel by Peter De Vries"; "Presented on the stage by The Theatre Guild") starring Doris Day, Richard Widmark, Gig Young, Gia Scala, Elisabeth Fraser, Elizabeth Wilson, and Vikki Dougan. Note that Vikki Dougan (nicknamed "The Back") was famous for her low-cut backless dresses, and she is featured on advertising material for this film in just such a dress. We don't know of any other films that feature her on the posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press.
